>We had a fantastic time over on stradbroke island Satts was pretty busy but still made time to have a chat with us and even a couple of photos. The beach was beautiful and the weather perfect even though the water was a bit cold for locals the guys and girls from the burrow thought it was high summer!
> Well we had a ball at our charity shield function Les Biles came along and entertained us with some stories from his playing days and his thoughts on the modern game unfortunately Frank Bonner was unable to attend so we couldn't get them to compare notes.
>Our annual Charity Shield function will be held at the Transcontinental Hotel on Saturday March the first. This year we will have a special guest Les Biles coming along to watch the game with us. Anyone wishing to have a bite to eat with Les before the game is more than welcome to join us at the hotel at 5pm.



> Due to the ending of the partnership between Souths and Easts Tigers we have been informed that we are no longer able to sell raffle tickets at easts leagues club. We have made lots of new friends there are I would like to thank the staff especially Ilona for her tremendous support of our raffles. We are now moving on and are seeking to continue our support of local junior rugby league elsewhere.
