Please RSVP by the 30th for the end of season BBQ by emailing me or phone Kathi on 38093029. It will be at the same place in Pelorus Avenue Redland Bay. About halfway down the street there is a BBQ area with tennis courts and swimming pool. So bring your togs!
Our trip to Cherbourg was a fantastic success and you can read all about it in our latest newsletter.
The end of season function will once again be held at Leanne Southons place in redland bay. The address is Pelorus av just drive down to the tennis courts and BBQ area  where the red and green balloons and streamers will be! We will start around 2pm and watch the grand final there. Sausages rissoles salad and nibbles will be provided with soft drinks.
An against the odds thrashing of the Dragons and a last minute victory over the sharks saw us finish in 10th position this season after looking good in the first part of the season the month of June was a terrible time when we lost 5 in a row. We put together some great wins  to get back into contention but could not maintain the rage when we were in front against the storm and the dogs. 
>Woohoo three wins on the trot! Finally some continuance of the fantastic run of form in the last few weeks. This is the first time we have beaten the rorters twice in the same year since 1988! Now we need to step up and play at the same intentsity against the dogs.

>For those thinking of coming up to Cherbourg for the weekend, QforSS members & friends can stay at the Australian Hotel-Motel in Murgon (Lamb St, Ph. 07 4168 1077 for bookings) for $60 Single, $75 Double, $90 triple per night as there is no accomodation in Cherbourg itself.
On the Saturday, we will be meeting at the hotel after our day at Cherbourg RLFC around 5pm onwards to watch the Rabbitohs v Sea Eagles game on Foxsports.
For a reminder, we will be presenting a new fridge to Chris Sandow's old junior club, enjoying a QforSS sponsored BBQ, and lots of local footy action. Remember to wear your red & green!!

>On Saturday August 8, Q4SS will be special guests of the Cherbourg Junior Rugby League club, home of Chris Sandow! It is planned Q4SS will present to the club a fridge as a donation to the club and our commitment to junior footy. We will also watch some great footy and enjoy a Q4SS -sponsored BBQ at 1pm. Some members of Q4SS will be heading up to the South Burnett region on the Friday. For those not familiar with this area, there are many attractions in this picturesque part of Queensland including lakes, wineries and camping.
